Well we poured the floor. Rob was wound so tight I think he aged a bit. It is the hardest part, oh hell it is all hard. But alas we are all finished and now the framing can begin.
Thank you to Trevor Toews. We could never have done all this without you!
We also lost our dog, Lugar on September 16th. We miss him so much and the house seems so empty with out him. But he will always be a part of this house. He left his mark on the foundation, plans and everything else. We also wanted to make sure that he was set in stone as well. Love you Lugar and miss seeing your wagging butt everyday. There is no one to greet us and it is hard. I wish you could have seen this house done. I am sure you would have loved to have eaten something on it.
Now to get back to the busy week. Working six days, yuck. Also it is homecoming. I know this blog is about the build but I might have to throw a picture of Jordan and her friend on here all dressed up to go to the dance.
