How cool is that? It is great to go in the house and turn on the lights. We have had a lot going on. Now we are at the final stages. I need to get myself together and get the final stuff all picked out. Flooring, light fixtures wall paint and the such. I get excited and giddy almost. I have put it off thinking I have all the time in the world and now it is time. Wow, really it came pretty quick. The insulators are done. I thought all the walls were insulated. I was wrong. We did sound proof our room, lol. We won't be able to hear the kids and they won't be able to hear us.
The dry wallers will start work today. We actually get to hire this out which will shave a serious amount of time off. This is a huge burden off Rob. It would have taken probably a good five or six weeks for us to do this. These guys will be done in like two. Can I get a hells ya. We still won't be in any earlier, but that is ok. I think we will make the May move I am hoping for.
Another thing to check off the list, siding. Rob finished the last on saturday.
And for my birthday he built me this......... I got an arch in the doorway from my living room to my dining room. So pretty. It is going to be a great addition and break up the angles a bit. Next up, go pull the trigger on some flooring, order the kitchen cabinets and pick out the interior doors
